We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about vehicle maintenance and safety, ready to make a difference in the lives of students in Elkridge, MD. Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on school buses. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime. Assist in the training of new technicians and apprentices. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests. Keep the maintenance shop organized and clean. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a school bus endorsement. Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance or automotive repair. Strong knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
