POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated School Caretaker / facilities Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role is vital in supporting a conducive learning environment for students and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• GCSE or equivalent.
  -IOSH / NEBOSH desirable.
• Previous experience in a caretaking, janitorial, or maintenance role within an educational environment preferred.
• Health & Safety knowledge and experience in an educational setting to include daily/weekly checks.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintenance tasks, such as carpentry/joinery and painting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends as required.
