QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
• Strong culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends or evenings as needed for events.

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and catering menus.
• Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Help set up catering events, including arranging food displays and serving areas.
• Support the kitchen team with various tasks, including cooking, food preparation, and cleaning duties.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of catering services.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
