Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supervising cleaning operations within a school environment, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support a team of cleaners to ensure daily tasks are completed to specification and on time.
• Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
• Carry out regular quality checks and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Ensure all team members are following site-specific cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.
• Provide on-site training and guidance to cleaning staff when required.
• Liaise with the site contact and Fidelis management to address any service issues or improvements.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or facilities role preferred.
• Understanding of COSHH regulations and health & safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a small team.
• Effective communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) required due to the school setting.
