Kingsbrook School are recruiting for a School Counsellor to join our Therapy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment, who will be required to work closely with other professionals providing support to students, reporting to member of the senior leadership team

The successful candidate will be registered and will hold BSc Occupational Therapy or profession specific equivalent qualification, along with the following characteristics:
Resilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Positive working relationships, good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Committed will join a supportive and experienced team of dedicated support staff, committed to delivering the very best care.
