About the role  We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, team-oriented professional to join our Business Support and School Crossing Team. The School Crossing Lead makes a difference daily by ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the School Crossing Team. With a customer centric approach, this role will focus on providing the program in line with relevant policies, procedures and legislations and work with a large range of stakeholders both internal and external. This is a temporary part time role working alongside the current School Crossings Lead while they transition in to retirement - working one day per week (on a Friday) until 31st of July 2026 based at the Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met. This is a Band 6 classified role. Remuneration will be $98,353.35 - $107,416.64 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee. The key selection criteria for this role are:  - Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a large and diverse team effectively - Highly developed organisational and time management skills - Strong customer service skills and experience in a service delivery environment. - Ability to build collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and advocate effectively on behalf of the service - Competent in the use of technology, systems and applications. - Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal - Strong administrative support skills with the ability to prepare reports and presentations in a succinct way To apply, please respond to the following questions in your application form: 1.
