QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • Valid Texas Director License (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
  • Min 3 years of leadership experience in early childhood education.
  • Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy and/or early childhood best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team management skills.
  • A growth mindset with the ambition to lead in a rapidly expanding school.

Responsibilities

The School Director is responsible for ensuring that Mariner Montessori maintains its high standards of excellence, smooth daily operations, and supportive culture. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily school operations and ensure compliance with state licensing and Montessori standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teachers and staff to foster growth and retention.
  • Responsible for center’s enrollment & marketing to meet organization goals.
  • Collaborate with the Employee Development Specialist to ensure continuous teacher training and professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with families, providing excellent communication and service.
  • Work with ownership and leadership team to achieve both educational and organizational goals.
