Curis Recruitment is excited to partner with a fantastic Aboriginal health service in the Kimberley to find an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team as a School Health Nurse, based in Western Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse with a background in child health, school health, community nursing or Aboriginal primary health care who is looking for a role where they can genuinely make an impact.
You will work with children and young people aged 4–17 years, helping to improve health outcomes through early intervention, health education, preventative healthcare and strong engagement with families, schools and the wider community.
What’s on offer?
The Role
As the School Health Nurse, you will coordinate and deliver school-based health services with a strong focus on prevention, early intervention and improving health literacy.
Your responsibilities will include:

Location Information
Imagine finishing work and heading straight to the beach, watching one of the Kimberley’s famous sunsets or spending your weekends exploring some of the most spectacular coastline in Australia.
This area offers a relaxed tropical lifestyle, a strong sense of community and the opportunity to experience the Kimberley while still having the amenities of a regional centre.
For a nurse wanting to move away from traditional hospital nursing and into a role centred around prevention, children, families and community, this is an opportunity well worth considering.
