JOB SUMMARY

William Academy is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in our school facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential or commercial cleaning and possess a strong work ethic. This role is essential in ensuring a clean environment for all staff and students.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
• Time management and planning skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, showers, classrooms, and other common areas.
• Empty garbage/recycling bins and dispose of waste.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or equipment issues.
• Report any maintenance issues to appropriate school staff.
