MIDDAY SUPERVISOR

Typical Hours: 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday / 5 hours per week
Requirement: Must have a DBS on the updated service or willing to apply for one

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • Basic first aid knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and support children effectively.
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas
  • Ensure students follow school rules and maintain good behavior
  • Monitor students’ safety and well-being, addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively
  • Support students with special needs, ensuring they are included and safe.
  • Provide basic first aid when necessary and report any incidents to the appropriate staff member
  • Ensure the playground and dining areas are safe and free from hazards
  • Organize and supervise games and activities to keep students engaged and active during the break
