The post holder will have experience of management within a higher education institution or similar complex organisation, coupled with excellent people and communication skills. The School Manager will manage the operational infrastructure of the school including research, staff; finances; health & safety; security; estates and administration. They will also ensure appropriate services are provided to the department around Education and Student Experience and Marketing and Communications in liaison with the faculty teams. The School Manager will assume full responsibility for the management and development of professional services staff and processes within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, ensuring that systems are fit for purpose and that UCL, faculty and school policies and strategies are fully implemented at all times. The School Manager will also be involved in and lead on faculty and UCL initiatives as well as driving a culture of continuous improvement in the delivery of services to the School.
