KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience required.
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and CPR certification.

  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to medical situations.
  • Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The College’s Officer Campus is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to support the health and well-being of our students and staff.
As the School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy school environment. Your responsibilities will include providing first aid, managing student health plans and responding to medical emergencies. You will work closely with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive and caring atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
  • Manage student health records and ensure compliance with medical and immunization requirements.
  • Administer medications as per school policies and individual student health plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external health professionals to support student needs.
  • Maintain first aid supplies and ensure the school’s health and safety policies are upheld.
