MASTER’S DEGREE IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, ACTIVE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Supporting early childhood development through occupational therapy, this position offers an opportunity to work within a K-12 school setting in Brooklyn, NY, focused on a specialized readiness program for PreK to 3- and 5-year-olds. The role is a temporary contract for the ESY (Extended School Year) session, providing consistent engagement with a small student caseload in a single campus location without the need for travel.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid NY State License in Occupational Therapy
• Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly ages 3-5, is preferred
• Ability to manage a small caseload effectively with personalized attention

• Deliver occupational therapy services to young children in the readiness program
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
• Maintain clear documentation of student outcomes and therapy sessions
