MASTER’S DEGREE IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, ACTIVE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A full-time occupational therapy opportunity is available in River Falls, WI, working within an elementary school setting from August 25 through June 5. This contract position will primarily support PreK and elementary-aged students, with a caseload focused on 5-7 students in self-contained/severe classrooms and additional students supported through consultative services.
The role involves delivering both push-in and pull-out OT services, emphasizing fine motor skills development. Pull-out sessions take place in the students ID room, serving those with more severe needs, while push-in and therapy room sessions support general education students. Supervision will be provided onsite by para-professionals, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs.

Qualifications and desired experience include:

  • Valid Wisconsin OT or COTA license (COTA candidates are welcome to apply)
  • Experience in school-based occupational therapy services
  • Ability to handle a mixed caseload including severe disabilities and consultative roles
  • Proficiency in both push-in support and pull-out therapy models
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration with educational teams
  • Comfort with virtual interview and onboarding processes
