[What the role is] You will develop curriculum and deliver training programmes based on current industry practices as well as assess students’ performance as individuals and as part of a team. You are also expected to provide support to students through coaching and mentoring. In addition, you will be required to participate in research, industry projects, and diploma related events and activities. [What you will be working on] You will develop, review and deliver pre-employment training and continuing education curriculum related to one or more of the expertise listed below: Food Science and Technology Food and Beverage Management Food Sustainability and Food Waste Management F&B Technology (Restaurant Digitalisation, Data Management and Analytics) Social Media Management and Marketing in Food Services Customer Journey Mapping and Customer Experience Restaurant Development or Entrepreneurship Other supporting duties include general administration and procurement. Lecturers will also be required to develop and deliver training for adult learners in the continuing education space, which may take place after working hours. [What we are looking for] • At least 8 years of relevant industry experience in the areas of expertise required above. • Excellent oral and written communication skills in dealing with people of all levels. • Familiar with Singapore and regional F&B industry. • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. • Good written, communication and presentation skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint • A self-starter, agile learner and take personal interest in coaching and mentoring others. • Experience in developing a curriculum or providing training in a client-facing environment will be an advantage. http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
