[What the role is] Associate Lecturer (Centre for Cognitive Coaching) [What you will be working on] The Centre for Cognitive Coaching is focused on building a professional ecosystem of cognitive coaches who are skilled at the art and science of Mediated Learning Experience (MLE), who will partner with RP to establish cognitive resilience and holistic wellness in the community. Successful candidates will deliver cognitive training and interventions to improve how individuals think and learn, as well as enhance their self-agency to become motivated, reflective, and active learners for life. [What we are looking for] • Deliver cognitive training and interventions for Continuing Education and Training (CET), and ad-hoc cognitive enrichment programmes • Coach and mentor other cognitive coaches to build the cognitive coaching ecosystem. • Contribute to the Community of Practice through sharing good practices and reflections. Requirements • Fulfil requirements to obtain the National Cognitive Coach Registry (NCCR) membership and maintain registration for at least one area of cognitive coaching specialisation including Feuerstein Thinking Memory (FTM) Coach L1, Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) Standard Level 1, and Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Basic Level 1. Having multiple areas of specialisation and higher levels will be an advantage. A degree in any discipline will be an advantage. • 1-2 years of experience in implementing MLE, coaching, occupational therapy, teaching and leadership development. Experience in social work, community care and working across age groups will be an advantage. • Familiarity with local community care organisations (e.g. Agency for Integrated Care, Active Ageing Centres, government initiatives (e.g., Healthier SG, Community Networks for Seniors), and the national education system, are preferred. • Passionate about being an advocate for MLE, FIE, neuroplasticity, and building the ecosystem for cognitive coaching in Singapore. • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and project outcomes. • Strong communication, planning, and organisation skills, with attention to detail. http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
