We are seeking a highly organised and proactive School Office Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Kingsley School’s administration. The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Headteacher, oversee office operations, and play a vital role in HR, governance, and school communications.

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in HR processes and compliance.
  • Confidence using management systems (e.g. iSAMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £31,245.00 per year
    Expected hours: 42.5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration, including contracts, induction, probation, and absence records.
  • Oversee the Single Central Record (SCR) and ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements.
  • Maintain accurate staff and student records on iSAMS.
  • Provide clerking support to the Board of Governors, including agendas, minutes, membership records, and statutory reporting.
  • Coordinate school communications, front-of-house arrangements, and catering for events and visitors.
  • Line manage office staff and maintain efficient systems to support school management.
  • Act as a first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming service.
