A school psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Buffalo, NY, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role involves providing psychological services to students in grades K-5, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school year.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, preparing detailed reports, facilitating meetings with parents and staff, offering consultation and problem-solving strategies, and providing counseling services to students. The role requires close collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments and address student needs effectively.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed or certified School Psychologist with experience in elementary school settings
• Expertise in psychological evaluations and report writing
• Strong skills in meeting facilitation and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Proven ability to provide counseling and consultative support to students and staff
• Familiarity with special education laws, procedures, and best practices

Schedule and Location:

• Position located in Buffalo, NY, serving an elementary school population
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:25 AM to 2:40 PM
• Contract position covering the full 2025-2026 school year
