BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY, ACTIVE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Provide vital psychological support for K-6 students in a dynamic school environment located in Chandler, AZ. This contract role offers an opportunity to deliver direct classroom and one-on-one assistance to students requiring varying levels of paraprofessional support, including academic help, behavior management, mobility assistance, and general supervision. Engage with a diverse caseload where individualized attention shapes student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support academic and behavioral needs through 1:1 and classroom-based interventions.
  • Assist students with mobility and supervise in various educational settings.
  • Collaborate with special education staff to tailor support according to individual student requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior experience working in school settings or with children with special needs is preferred.
  • Strong flexibility to support a broad range of student challenges across early elementary grade levels (K-6).
  • Ability to implement supportive strategies to enhance student learning and well-being.
  • Paraeducator or school experience beneficial for effective role performance.

Position Details:

  • Location: Chandler, Arizona
  • Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 6th grade
  • Contract Duration: August 12 May 22 (Non-School Year contract)
  • Hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day, Monday to Friday)
  • Caseload: One school, varied student needs including potential 1:1 assistance
