BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY, ACTIVE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A school district in Vancouver, WA is seeking two experienced School Psychologists for maternity leave coverage at the secondary and early learning levels. These full-time contract positions provide an excellent opportunity to support students academic, emotional, and behavioral growth within a K-12 setting.

Key Details:

  • Position: School Psychologist (Leave Coverage)
  • Levels: Secondary and Early Learning
  • Number of Openings: 2
  • Schedule: 5 days per week
  • Caseload: Approximately 60 students
  • Contract Duration: First position from 8/21 to 12/19; second position from 8/21 to mid-January (exact end date TBD)

Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing individualized educational plans (IEPs), collaborating with educators and families, and providing interventions that promote student success. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience addressing diverse student needs within school environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
