DESCRIPTION:

Heartland AEA has full-time School Psychologist positions available for the 2025-26 school year, office location and districts to be determined. This position will have a 192-day contract and will provide services that assist parents and professionals in meeting the educational and social/emotional/behavioral and mental health needs of children and youth and will include Child Find responsibilities within a RtI model.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified applicants must be appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, having a Professional Service License (or have the ability to obtain a license) and have a post-master’s level of professional training in an approved school psychology training program with institutional recommendations. Prefer applicants who have a specialist degree or master’s plus 30 hours and a desire to work within a RtI/MTSS model. Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required. Qualified candidates should have an understanding of function of behavior and best practices in instruction for behavior.
