MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving a K-12 student population in Skowhegan, ME. This contract position offers the chance to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the academic year, beginning August 18th.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and support academic success.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support for students.
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
  • Monitor progress and adjust support plans accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations.
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload effectively over the school year.
