BACHELOR’S OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY, ACTIVE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A position is available for a School Psychologist to support elementary students from PreK through 5th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options (minimum 25 hours per week if part time), with a preference for full-time commitment. The position is currently on-site and primarily supports the mental health and educational needs within an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for PreK-5th grade students to identify learning needs and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to building a positive school climate.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote academic and social success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably PreK-5th grade.
  • Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and special education regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Ability to work effectively on-site to deliver services and support students and staff.
