Join Play in the Sun Inc., a dynamic hybrid online and community school dedicated to supporting children’s developmental and educational needs. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to conduct psychological assessments, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with our therapy team—including PT, OT, SLP, and therapy assistants. The role involves providing assessments primarily for children enrolled in our program, with occasional in-person visits to community settings throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering positive outcomes and working closely with families, educators, and our multidisciplinary team to promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for children enrolled in the school.
- Develop and monitor individualized plans based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with therapy team members to support student progress.
- Participate in occasional in-person visits to community sites for progressing the Team and family skills
- Provide virtual support as needed In a hybrid therapy model
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations effectively with families and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid psychology’s license or certification at the Masters Degree Level Registered with the psychology Alberta licensing board.
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred In an applied manner
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including some community visits.
