We are looking to recruit a Receptionist/School Administrator to come and work at our school as part of our busy, friendly admin team - someone with a ‘can do’ attitude.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
We are looking for a good allrounder who can work independently and as part of a busy administrative team and;
Experience of working within a school setting would be an advantage but not essential as long as you have a willingness to learn. An understanding of school information systems such as iSAMS would also be useful but not essential.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 18:00pm (including 1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
Permanent and Term time only - with the equivalent of 2 weeks during the school holidays. The school may consider part time working.
Closing date: Midday on 9th September (the school reserves the right to interview candidates before this date).

The key functions of the role are to warmly greet visitors to the school ensuring all visitor protocols are run through, answering emails sent to the school office inbox, dealing with a wide range of internal and external telephone calls, liaising with pupils, staff and parents on varying issues during the school day, ensuring registers are completed in a timely fashion, updating information on the school’s database, passing on information to staff and parents, ensuring communications are sent to parents and staff (including on the school’s app), distributing incoming post, using the franking machine to process outgoing post, school trip and event administration and running reports from the school’s database.
