As a School Site Manager at King’s Leadership Academy Hawthornes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our school is safe, secure, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. From maintaining the buildings and grounds to leading our facilities team, your work will directly support the success of our academy and create the conditions in which every student can thrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain clean, safe, and secure school premises, including buildings and grounds.
  • Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, porterage, and oversee contractors for larger works.
  • Lead and supervise the caretaking and cleaning teams, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Act as the main keyholder, ensuring the security of the premises and responding to callouts.
  • Promote health and safety across the school and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Contribute to site development planning and the long-term improvement of facilities.
