Job Title: Site Supervisor
Salary: Grade F, Point 6-7, £25,989 - £26,403
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Line Manager: Trust Facilities Manager

PURPOSE OF THE POST:

To work across the site and be responsible for ensuring the security, care and availability of the schools’ buildings, furniture, fittings and equipment; to ensure a good physical environment and to promote the efficient use of trust assets to support the education objectives of the schools. To oversee the schools’ schedule of works and carry out and record Health & Safety checks using the Trust’s electronic system. To ensure absence cover is provided when required for the Site Supervisor and Cleaning Team.

KEY TASKS AND ACTIVITIES

·As one of the main key holders, be responsible for the security of school premises.
·To maintain constant awareness of the physical condition of the buildings, furniture and equipment and ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
·Ensure all Health & Safety legislation is complied with.
·Ensure appropriate levels of heat and light throughout the buildings on site.
·Ensure each minibus is safe for use.
·Plan daily work to ensure all work is carried out in an efficient manner.
·Carry out other general duties.
