A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker specializing in school settings to support elementary students in Ada, MI. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY), providing essential social work services to enhance student well-being and promote a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans
• Facilitate group sessions and intervention programs addressing areas such as conflict resolution, social skills, and crisis management
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school policies and legal requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or equivalent credential
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
