Required Qualifications: * Master’s degree Certification/Licensure * Valid certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. * Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders. * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support system. * Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. * Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute valuable insights. * Stay updated on current research and best practices in speech and language therapy. * Work closely with other members of the special education team to ensure a cohesive approach to student support. * Attend internal and external meetings & trainings * Student data management via Infinite Campus and other software programs * Conduct & review evaluations Qualifications: * Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to create and maintain detailed records of student progress. * Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in special education. * Logistics: Assist in setting up and organizing materials and resources for after-school programs. * Other duties as assigned. Skills and Knowledge: * Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively. * Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. * Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
