JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Sports Coach to deliver high-quality Physical Education (PE) lessons and afterschool sports clubs for primary school pupils. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, a commitment to promoting physical fitness, and a passion for inspiring young people to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
- deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum and school objectives. (curriculums provided)
- Lead a variety of afterschool sports clubs (e.g., football, netball, athletics, multi-sports) for pupils of varying ages and abilities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students to participate and enjoy physical activity.
- Identify and support pupils with different skill levels, including those with additional needs.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
- Maintain a safe and structured environment, ensuring the proper use and storage of sports equipment.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Assist in organizing school sports events, inter-school competitions, and sports days.
- Maintain open and positive communication with teachers, school staff, and parents/carers.

This role would be ideal for someone who is currently completing or has completed a Sports Coaching Qualification or equivalent.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of running holiday camps/ working in a school environment
- A valid and current DBS or be willing to apply for one through our agency
- The legal right to work in the UK
