Description
We are seeking a School Support Field Technician to provide on-site, first-line IT support for schools and administrative locations. This role supports teachers, staff, and students by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide desk-side IT support and resolve support tickets * Troubleshoot devices (Chromebooks, iPads, Windows, macOS) * Maintain computer labs, carts, whiteboards, and AV equipment * Support basic network and wireless issues * Install updates, patches, and configure printers * Track assets and document work in ticketing systems (Incident IQ) * Collaborate with IT teams, school staff, and vendors * Ensure test readiness and daily system functionality * Support IT projects, deployments, and school events ---------------------------------------- REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: * 3+ years of IT field/desk-side support experience * A+ Certification (Required) * Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, network) * Experience with mobile devices (Chromebooks, iPads, macOS/iOS) * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Familiarity with ticketing systems (preferred) * Education environment experience (plus)
