Location: Bradford BD13
Contract: Temporary (until October half term, with potential extension)
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Technician to support the Design & Technology department at a Bradford secondary school. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the workshops, providing technical support to both staff and students, and maintaining a safe working environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate and maintain a range of Design & Technology (DT) machinery and equipment.
  • Prepare materials and resources for practical lessons.
  • Support teaching staff and students during practical sessions.
  • Ensure all equipment is safely set up, used, and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Carry out routine checks, servicing, and maintenance of machinery.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and general workshop organisation.
