School Therapist Englewood , Ohio Title: School Therapist Masters (Float) Facility: Fidelity Health Care Job Reports to: Manager, School Therapy Program General Summary/Responsibilities: The School Therapist functions as a member of a treatment team and school team, which may consist of staff with a variety of mental health, education, or medical backgrounds. Therapist assists the treatment team to plan and deliver clinical services, case coordination, intervention, consultation and/or education services to children, adolescents, adults, and families while working in a school setting Qualifications Education Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachler's degree Bachelor's degree Additional requirements: § Type of degree: Relevant social sciences fieldRelevant social sciences field § Area of study or major: Counseling, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Rehabilitation. § Preferred educational qualifications: N/A § Position specific testing requirement: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration § Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience Prior job title or occupational experience: N/A Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A Preferred experience: Training and experience in providing individual psychotherapy, community support psychiatric services, and group psychotherapy Other experience requirements: Experience in using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders DSM 5 TR Knowledge/Skills § Knowledge of human behavior, learning, and motivation. § Assess, Diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate mental and emotional disorders under supervisory guidance
