Opportunity: Drexel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic high school student to join our Door and Millwork Factory for a hands-on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights into automated robotics manufacturing in a state-of-the-art facility and develop practical skills in manufacturing. Responsibilities may include: Sweep, clean and maintain facility, and storage areas. Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned General cleaning and maintenance of work areas including office, common areas and on the factory floor. Outdoor upkeep and maintenance around fulfillment center/factory. Undertaking specific projects as assigned by the Manufacturing team. Requirements Qualifications: Currently enrolled in high school. Must be at least 16 years old. Able to be on feet for extended periods of time . Able to reach and bend as needed. Not intimidated by hard work and getting dirty. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Keep a positive WINNING ATTITUDE on good AND challenging days Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow instructions, critically think. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in basic computer applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain safe and organized workspaces
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility and completing miscellaneous tasks as assigned. The role also involves outdoor upkeep and undertaking specific projects assigned by the manufacturing team.
