They are our daily contact with schools, parents, and students and their actions influence those people’s opinions of our company.     Position Summary:   Responsible for the operation and driving of school vans and the safe transportation of students and other passengers.   All applicants must be at least 21 years old (20 with approval); have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check, as well as a NON DOT drug test. Kottkes' offers part-time, split-shift opportunities that work well with other careers!  We offer competitive wages.   Responsibilities: * Transport clients in a safe and timely manner * Pre and post trip inspections * Comply with road and traffic laws. * Follow DOT rules and maintain a clean vehicle. * Help with loading and unloading clients as needed. * Report any maintenance or repairs needed in a timely manner. * Other duties as assigned by management may result from business needs. Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED preferred. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. * Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam as required by Federal and State Laws. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug testing, and pre-employment physical exam-based on Federal and State Laws. * Able to write and communicate in English.     Working Conditions: Work involves driving vans and assisting passengers in a variety of driving and weather conditions.  Qualifications Sign on bonuses up to $1,500.  
Responsibilities
The driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students and passengers in school vans. They must also perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and comply with all traffic and safety regulations.
