REQUIREMENTS

• Proven teaching/tutoring experience in IB and/or IGCSE Physics.
• Strong knowledge of IB DP/MYP, Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS/A Level Physics.
• Strong understanding of syllabus, assessment objectives, mark schemes and examination requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to improve student grades, confidence and examination performance.
• Ability to teach one-to-one and small-group classes.
• Must be available to work full-time and in person in Dubai.

CAREER COUNSELLING & UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS

• Conduct personalised career counselling sessions with students and parents.
• Assess students' interests, strengths, academic performance, personality and career aspirations.
• Guide students on suitable career pathways, university majors, courses and subject selections.
• Develop personalised career, profile-building and university application roadmaps.
• Research and shortlist universities based on academic profile, career goals, preferred country, budget and admission probability.
• Guide students for universities across the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, Singapore, UAE and other destinations.
• Provide guidance on Common Application, UCAS and university-specific applications.
• Advise students on SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, AP, LNAT, UCAT and other relevant admission requirements.
• Support students with personal statements, college essays, CVs, activity lists, applications and university interviews.
• Guide students on extracurricular activities, internships, competitions, research, volunteering and leadership opportunities for profile building.
• Monitor application, scholarship, testing and university deadlines and ensure timely completion.
• Assist students in evaluating university offers, scholarships and final admission decisions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and communicate regularly with students and parents.
• Conduct career seminars, parent workshops, webinars and university-admissions presentations when required.
