To teach Science – Years 7-11 To use effective teaching and learning strategies that focus on knowing and engaging learners. To contribute to the development and sharing of quality teaching and learning strategies and programmes of learning. To facilitate learning in an inclusive and positive environment that responds to the needs and passions of all learners. To be responsible for the progression in learning and assessment of learning. To attend relevant meetings and engage in professional learning opportunities. To participate positively with the Rangi Ruru Professional Growth Cycle withing our Professional Learning Community. To model and uphold the Professional Teaching Standards and Code of Conduct. If appropriate, to engage positively in the Induction and Mentoring programme for Provisionally Registered Teachers.
