Full-Time | September 2026 Start (or sooner for the right role)

Are you a Science Teacher considering a move for September 2026? Academics are actively building a strong pool of Science Teachers in Southampton ahead of permanent and long-term opportunities expected across local secondary schools.

By registering early, you'll be well positioned to be introduced to schools as roles arise - giving you access to opportunities that may not yet be advertised.

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3-KS4 (with opportunities at KS5 in some schools). All science specialisms are welcome, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and you'll be supporting mixed-ability learners while contributing positively to department and whole-school life.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
  • Commitment to inclusive, engaging teaching
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider school community

Why Register with Academics?

  • Early access to upcoming permanent Science roles
  • Opportunities across a range of Southampton secondary schools
  • Support matching you with schools that fit your experience and career goals
  • Long-term and permanent roles as they become available

If you're a Science Teacher planning ahead for your next role in Southampton, we'd love to speak with you. Register now to be considered for September 2026 and future opportunities.
