SCIENCE TEACHER – SECONDARY SCHOOL (BIRMINGHAM)

Full-Time Role, Start ASAP, Until End of Academic Year
Connex Education are working with an Ofsted “Good” secondary school in Birmingham, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join their team on a full time and part time basis. The Part time role is 3 days per week.
Both Science teaching positions start as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year. The successful candidates will be teaching general Science across KS3 and KS4, supporting pupils’ progress and fostering a love for the subject.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Recent experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring learners.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Differentiating lessons to meet a variety of learning needs.
• Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student progress.
