We are looking for a Science Teacher for an international high school program based in Guangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year starting in August 2026 About the school This AP high school program is based in Guangzhou and offers a U.S.-style secondary curriculum designed to prepare students for overseas university applications. It combines American high school coursework with AP options, English-medium instruction, and a college-preparatory pathway aimed at universities in the U.S. and other major study destinations. Job details Teach AP Science classes for 18–24 periods per week Complete 6–12 office hours per week Total working hours are approximately 30 hours per week Duties include lesson planning, grading, weekly staff meetings, student club involvement, and participation in international department and school events The weekly teaching schedule generally runs Monday to Thursday from 7:45 AM to 12:05 PM and 2:30 PM to 4:55 PM, and Friday from 7:20 AM to 10:30 AM Become proficient in AP Classroom and FACTS, the school’s student management system A Bachelor’s degree in Education or science related field is required.
