Exploring Scholar is currently seeking a science Teacher to join our team. This is an in person position giving teachers the perfect opportunity to inspire students through engaging lessons. The ideal candidate will have a full-time science or teaching job during, or they will be in teacher’s college or in an education related field. Teachers can also enjoy professional growth opportunities such as alternative practicums and assistance cultivating resumes for future experiences. Because this is an in person position, teachers must be able to reliably commute to our location.
Exploring Scholar is a quickly growing provider of innovative education services focusing on K-12 academic enrichment programs. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment where educators can design tailored materials for students with professional lesson plans. We are based in and operate in Toronto.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Teaching experience with grades 7-10 science classes in a Canadian or US curriculum.
• Academic proficiency and confidence in teaching demonstrated during the selection process.
• Teachers must be proficient in online teaching tools.

• Must deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students or through private tutoring.
• Prepare lessons within guidelines and Mark homework and assessments.
• Help promote students’ interests in the subject.
• Teach a minimum of 4 hours per week.
  Location: We are located at 201 Consumers Rd, North York, ON.
  Compensation: Compensation is calculated by teaching hours and prior experience.
