About the Position: Exploring Scholar is currently seeking a science teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a full-time science or teaching job during, or they will be in teacher’s college or in an education related field. Teachers must be able to reliably commute to our location.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Teaching experience with grades 7-10 science classes in a Canadian or US curriculum.
• Academic proficiency and confidence in teaching demonstrated during the selection process.
• Teachers must be proficient in online teaching tools.

• Must deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students or through private tutoring.
• Prepare lessons within guidelines and Mark homework and assessments.
• Help promote students’ interests in the subject.
• Teach a minimum of 4 hours per week.
