Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Ability to teach KS4 pupils facilitating them towards Trilogy (double award) GCSE following the AQA specification. May be required to assist high ability individuals towards Triple awards GCSE.
  • Utilise a newly refurbished science laboratory to plan and deliver lessons, incorporating hands-on experiments that enhance student learning and scientific inquiry.
  • Deliver engaging lessons to students of varying abilities, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create innovative classroom activities to enhance student understanding and critical thinking skills. * Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practices and stay updated with educational trends.
