We are recruiting for Student Support and Attendance Officers to join a busy college environment in the Solihull area. This is a temporary, full-time position, supporting students while helping manage and monitor attendance records.


This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a student-focused environment, providing frontline support and ensuring accurate attendance tracking.


Key Duties of the Student Support and Attendance Officer role:

  • Monitor and accurately record student attendance using internal systems
  • Follow up on absences and contact students or parents/guardians where required
  • Provide general administrative support to student services and teaching teams
  • Offer frontline support to students, assisting with queries and signposting to appropriate services
  • Maintain and update student records and documentation
  • Support attendance improvement initiatives and reporting
  • Liaise with teaching staff to ensure clear communication around attendance issues
  • Handle confidential information in line with safeguarding and data protection policies
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive environment for all students

Role Description The Science Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The Science Teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in science subjects, with an emphasis on fostering curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific literacy. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, teaching classes, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Science Education with subject-matter expertise in Physics and Mathematics.
  • Status as a Qualified Teacher and proven experience in classroom instruction.
  • Demonstrated skill in Lesson Planning, including curriculum alignment and differentiated instruction.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and learner engagement abilities.
  • Relevant teaching certification and a bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Science, or a related field.
