ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an organised and proactive Science Technician to join our Science Department, supporting the delivery of engaging and practical science lessons. This is a flexible role with immediate start, offering both permanent and temporary options, as well as full-time or part-time hours to suit the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and set up equipment, chemicals, and resources for science lessons and experiments
• Ensure all apparatus is maintained, cleaned, and stored safely
• Assist teachers during practical lessons where required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations
• Manage stock control and order resources as needed
• Support the smooth running of the department by maintaining accurate records and inventories
