BDR is seeking a Scientific Analyst/Researcher to join our growing team! This position will be performed virtually from the individual’s home office working on EST time schedule. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of in a similar field
  • PhD in Molecular Cell Biology, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Linguistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or other areas of research
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with automated content analysis of biomedical scientific documents
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to performing a variety of duties, changing from one task to another of a different nature, without a loss of efficiency or composure
  • Must have the ability to take initiative and be detail-orientated in a goal-orientated environment
    In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are actively seeking a Scientific Analyst/Researcher to support our government client. The analyst/researcher will be instrumental in helping with basic biological, translational and clinical research. They will also assist with scientific communication, documentation, technical writing and data visualization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Researches and evaluates the operation of the organization’s scientific programs.
  • Researches, interprets and summarizes background materials from a variety of scientific sources.
  • Compiles data and creates and prepares graphs, slides and presentations.
  • Performs logistical planning of various scientific meetings, lectures, workshops.
  • Plans, organizes and participates at a senior level in technical meetings and consultations.
  • Reviews and evaluates the performance of the organization.
