About Medical Information & Communication (MI&C) – GBS Team The MI&C team in GBS, Bangalore is part of the Medical Delivery function and comprises experienced medical communicators. We collaborate closely with Global & US stakeholders to implement scientific content strategies and deliver accurate, timely, and compliant medical information and scientific communication deliverables. Our team plays a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals by providing evidence-based, customer-centric communications aligned with regulatory standards and company policies. Accountabilities - Leverage scientific and therapeutic area expertise to develop, review, and maintain accurate and engaging medical content across various formats. - Provide accurate, focused, and scientifically balanced responses to medical information inquiries from healthcare providers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure medical content aligns with strategic priorities and adheres to industry standards. - Perform comprehensive literature searches to identify relevant scientific evidence. - Translate complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate messaging. - Perform medical accuracy reviews on scientific content. - Contribute to process enhancements aimed at improving operational efficiency, quality, and turnaround time. - Significantly contribute to the adoption of digital solutions and technological advancements in scientific content delivery. - Support strategic medical planning and ensure timely execution of assigned deliverables. - Lead or participate in key workstreams related to scientific content creation, medical information services, or digital innovation projects. Essential Skills/Experience - Advanced scientific degree (PharmD preferred, MD, PhD, or equivalent). - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in scientific communications or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry. - Clinical and healthcare systems expertise. - Scientific literature evaluation and analysis. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex scientific information into clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences. - Scientific/medical writing, communication, and content creation (e.g., slide decks). - Strategic thinker with strong business insight, project management, and organizational skills. - Demonstrated ability to work across teams or functions. - Proficiency in using technology/platforms. - Demonstrates strong teamwork skills, shows sensitivity to cultural differences, and remains open to change. - Experience developing digital content and/or digital content strategy highly desired. - Experience in mentoring and coaching team members (for senior roles). - Ability to apply local regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements to Medical Affairs activities and drug information delivery.
