JOB OVERVIEW

BPS Bioscience Inc. is a leading provider of recombinant proteins, assay kits, and recombinant cell lines for drug discovery. We are seeking an exceptional scientist, with a strong background in enzymology, enzyme kinetics, protein/protein interactions, and fluorescence and luminescence-based assays.
The Scientific Communications Manager will support BPS Bioscience through product marketing efforts and scientific content. More specifically, this role will provide in-depth scientific and technical support in relation to solutions for the marketplace and product marketing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or Molecular Biology & Cell Biology
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the Life Science industry
  • Must be able to build credibility and relationships across functions and levels
  • Ability to communicate with and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills highly effectively
  • Excellent writing skills
  • High level of organization, multi-tasking, and attention to detail

Responsibilities
  • Creates and develops product/portfolio marketing strategies.
  • Participates in or leads problem solving and troubleshooting activities.
  • Writes and coordinates the development of scientific content for: product pages, webinars, technical notes, posters, blog posts, marketing collateral.
  • Ensures customer needs are identified and addressed via creation and updates to product literature and service guides.
  • Finalizes new product launches daily with technical review and editing of product inserts and web content.
  • Partners closely with product management and scientific teams to gain an understanding of product features and relevance to market segments.
  • Participates in writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Marketing team.
  • Creates sales enablement tools including webinars, support content and other relevant content.
  • Monitors and reports scientific/technical knowledge of scientific fields and their potential impact to products in the market.
  • Keeps up to date with new trends in drug discovery.
  • Attends scientific meetings to support business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
