Gerald Choa Neuroscience Institute Scientific Officer The appointee will be responsible for (a) developing MRI acquisition and data analysis for disease detection; (b) conducting in vivo MRI experiments; (c) preparing technical documentation and scientific reports; (d) assisting in grant or manuscript preparations; (e) supervising research staff and postgraduate students; and (f) performing other tasks and projects as assigned. Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines; (ii) at least 3 years’ post-doctoral clinical or scientific research and/or laboratory management experience; (iii) experience in MRI development; (iv) experience in animal MRI experiments; (v) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and (vi) a publication track record of international peer-reviewed journals. Having experience in laboratory management, animal surgery, and behavioural training will be advantageous. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
