We’re proud of the impact we make—just last year, we supported over 780 discovery projects, 1,000+ CMC programmes, and 1,000+ clinical trials across all phases. Our teams are involved in everything from small molecules to gene therapies, and we work with more than 3,000 global customers.
We are looking for a Scientist in Analytical Chemistry with a strong background in Analytical Chemistry combined with a solid expertise in HPLC and potentially GC, SFC, NMR or other analytical methodologies utilized to characterize APIs. The role is to support chemistry projects, develop and validate analytical methods, provide expert advice in the characterization of Starting Materials, Intermediates and APIs and collaborates effectively with Process Chemistry colleagues.
Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.
REQUIREMENTS:
The Analytical Chemistry team at the Hoddesdon site supports other chemistry functions and our science partners with advanced analytical solutions to deliver our clients’ programmes and ultimately progress medicines to the market. A career at Pharmaron will give you the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of modern analytical techniques (including UHPLC, NMR, and GC-MS) whilst experiencing early- and late-phase pharmaceutical development. You will be able to apply your knowledge and problem-solving skills to a wide variety of R&D projects and to facilitate the development and validation of modern analytical methods for the testing of raw materials, intermediates and APIs and material characterisation. Further opportunities are available in polymorph screening, crystallisation optimisation and pre-formulation development.
